has been transformed to host corporate events, conferences,

Barclay House
Barclay House is a Bed & Breakfast occupying a charming Victorian
terraced house. Its location in a quiet, tree-lined street in
Fulham provides an ideal base for exploring London. The house was
originally built in 1872. The interior décor combines original
period features with modern amenities, creating a comfortable and
homely place to stay.
For eating out, the local area has many fine restaurants with
cuisines ranging from Italian, Spanish, Indian, to Vietnamese and
English. Other local attractions include excellent shopping at the
fashionable Kings Road and fascinating history at the Victoria &
Albert Museum. Travelling to central London takes less than 10

This Bed & Breakfast is the family home of Margaret and Simon de
Mare. It is situated in a quiet residential street in Chelsea.
The local area is well known for its bistros and restaurants. The
popular Hollywood Arms pub is recommended as a good place to eat.
A few minutes walk will take you to the fashionable Fulham Road
with its café bars and the wonderful boutique shops of the Kings
Road.
Hop on a London bus at the end of the road and you will travel
past the Victoria & Albert Museum and Harrods to Piccadilly Circus
and the West End.
If you want to travel on the underground then the nearest Tube
station is Earls Court. This station operates on the Piccadilly
and District Lines, and is 15 minutes walk from the Bed &

The Coach House
The Coach House is a separate building with its own private
entrance, located in the garden of the owner’s family home. It can
sleep up to 5 people and is ideal accommodation for a family or a
group of friends visiting London.
The Coach House is a short walk from the tranquil, open space of
Wandsworth Common. It is close to the fashionable Bellevue Road,
with its unique blend of shops, trendy bars and cafés.
The nearest Tube station is Balham, a 7 minute walk from the Coach
House. Balham operates on the Northern line, which will take you
to Victoria Station, Leicester Square and Oxford Street in less
than 20 minutes.
The Coach House was built in the late 19th century. It is a
building with plenty of charm and character. There are 2 bedrooms.
The main en-suite bedroom is on the first floor, with original oak
beams and French windows that overlook the beautiful garden. It is
well-furnished with a double and single bed, a wardrobe and a
chest of drawers. Other in-room facilities include a telephone,
radio, TV and hairdryer.
The second bedroom is on the ground floor. It has the same in-room
amenities as the main bedroom, with two comfortable single beds.
The room has private bathroom facilities but they are not
en-suite.
The Coach House has a well-equipped kitchen with a fridge/
freezer, cooker and microwave. The kitchen table comfortably seats
4 people.
Breakfast is included in the tariff and is served in the kitchen/

Sundays, which is the owners’ day off.

Temple Lodge Club
The Temple Lodge Club prides itself on being a peaceful Christian
haven in the heart of London. The building it occupies is a
Georgian listed property and was once the home of the artist Sir
Frank Brangwyn.
Activities in the local area include pleasant walks by the River
Thames, going past the house of William Morris towards the
attractive Kew Gardens. Just over Hammersmith Bridge is the
Waterfowl sanctuary at the Wetlands Centre. The area has three
theatres, all within 5 minutes walk of the Temple Lodge Club.
The bedrooms are spacious, light and furnished in a Scandinavian
style. The choice is of a single, shared or twin room. Bathroom
facilities are shared. There is a toilet, bath and shower on every
corridor. Each room has its own tea and coffee making facilities.
Bedrooms are not equipped with TV’s and radios, to maintain the
peaceful ambience of the Lodge.
A vegetarian breakfast is included in the room tariff, with many

The Goring
The Goring is an elegant luxury hotel, which has been managed by
four generations of the same family. It is situated in a quiet
street in the centre of London. It is an ideal location if you

Fox Hill Bed & Breakfast
Fox Hill Bed & Breakfast occupies a charming, large Victorian
house in Crystal Palace. The landscape of Fox Hill was
immortalised in 1870 by the French painter, Camille Pissarro. His
painting "Fox Hill, Upper Norward" now resides at the National
Gallery. The tree depicted in the foreground of the painting still
exists today, directly opposite the guest house.
Local places of interest include Dulwich Picture Gallery, the
Horniman Museum and the Crystal Palace Museum. During the summer
months open air concerts are a regular occurrence in Crystal
Palace Park.
The owners, Sue and Tim, have been running the Bed & Breakfast for
over 5 years. The welcoming atmosphere and comfortable

Tucked away in a quiet street, next to the bustling area of
Notting Hill and fashionable Kensington, 26 Hillgate Place offers
quality bed and breakfast accommodation. The house was built in
the 1840’s and retains all the charm of these period properties.
Notting Hill has many wonderful cafés, bars and restaurants.
Portobello and Kensington are superb shopping areas with many

The other room is the larger of the two. It has a king sized bed
and antique Indian furniture. The shared bathroom is up a flight
of stairs. It is spacious with a large corner bath and shower.
Each room has a mini chiller for milk or water and tea/ coffee
making facilities. Other features include complimentary
toiletries, bath robes, a bowl of fruit, a hairdryer and an iron.
Breakfast is included in the room rate and is served in the dining
room overlooking the small, leafy courtyard garden. The dining
room is always available for guests to use, as is the courtyard
and terrace. Children are welcome but you need to be aware that it
is an old house with many twisting stairs. Although much loved by
the guest house owners, pets are unfortunately not allowed.

The Cumberland’s combines modern, contemporary interior design
