Mercure Thames Lodge Staines
Mercure Thames Lodge Staines is situated on the banks of the River
Thames, on the outskirts of London. The city centre and Windsor
are easily accessible via the M25 (Jct 13).
Staines itself has superb shopping, restaurants and bars. There is
the beautiful scenery of the River Thames to enjoy, with some
wonderful walks along the riverbank.
Originally the hotel was a small19th century building but over the
years it has been extended to accommodate 78 en-suite bedrooms.
Modern amenities include satellite TV, telephone and radio. The
bathrooms are spacious with a good sized bathtub and a hairdryer.
Room service is available from 11.00am to 10.00pm. A selection of
freshly prepared hot dishes and a variety of cold snacks are
offered.
The hotel’s Riverside restaurant has splendid views of the River
Thames and serves a wide range of traditional and international
dishes that will appeal to most tastes. It opens for breakfast at
7.00am.
The lounge bar opens from 11.00am till 11.00pm. It provides an
elegant setting to relax in with a drink and enjoy the view.
The Mercure Thames Lodge has 8 well-equipped meeting rooms that
can accommodate up to 100 people. They can be arranged in a
variety of different layouts and catering services are available
on request.
Other hotel features include WiFi Internet access, a dry cleaning
and ironing service, a hotel porter, a Tourist Information desk
and private outdoor parking. Business services are available but
maybe subject to an extra charge.
