Southbourne Guest House
Southbourne Guest House is situated in the quiet, picturesque
suburb of Chorley. It is an elegant late Victorian property, 5
minutes drive from London’s Gatwick Airport. The owners, Breda and
Tony, offer free airport transfers from 9.30am to 9.30pm.
Horley has many good restaurants, pubs and shops. The guest house
is 5 minutes from Horley Train Station which has a regular service
to central London.
All the bedrooms have an en-suite bathroom. The rooms are
elegantly decorated and equipped with modern features including
TV, a courtesy beverage tray and central heating. A honeymoon
room, complete with a luxurious four poster bed, is available on
request.
The other types of room are single, double, twin and family. The
family room can sleep up to 5 people.
Continental breakfast is included in the room rate. Cooked
breakfast is subject to a small supplement. It is served between
7.30am to 9.00am weekdays and 7.30am to 9.30am at the weekends. If
you are departing before 7.00am then there is a self-service
continental buffet available in the dining room.
The Southbourne Guest House has free car parking for guests. For
long term or holiday parking there is a daily charge.
Free WiFi Internet access is available throughout the property.

Melville Lodge Guest House
Horley town centre is a short walk from Melville Lodge Guest
House. It is a 5 minute drive to Gatwick Airport, which makes the
guest house ideal for staying overnight at the beginning or end of
your holiday journey.
Horley train station has a regular service to London Victoria or
to the seaside town of Brighton. It is just a 5 minute walk from
the guest house.
As well as the stunning Surrey and Sussex countryside there are
many other attractions to explore in the surrounding area. Enjoy
the tranquillity of Sheffield Park, experience another era at the
Bluebell Railway or discover the history of Hever Castle.
All of the rooms at Melville Lodge are individually decorated and
comfortably furnished. In-room amenities include tea/ coffee
making facilities, TV, radio alarm clock, wash basin and a fan.
Free wireless Internet access is available.
A continental or cooked breakfast is served between 7.30am and
8.30am. The owners encourage the guests to sit around a large
table, making breakfast a very sociable affair. For those
requiring breakfast prior to 7.30am a tray with orange juice and
cereal is left in your room the night before.
Children are welcome at this homely, family run guest house. Cots
are available on request.
