Temple Lodge - Hammersmith (Vegetarian bed and breakfast)

Temple Lodge is a quiet oasis in the middle of London. Visitors are invited to join in with activities of the Christian Community and will have the opportunity of joining the Temple Lodge Club for a nominal fee. The house offers many facilities for the use of guests, such as a kitchen, a quiet and secluded garden and a large library. There are four single rooms, three twin rooms and two double rooms, all at very reasonable rates. Washbasins are provided in the rooms, and hairdryers available on request.
All the big tourist attractions are reached easily by public transport. Pleasant walks along the River Thames are easily accessible. Historical houses, Kew Gardens, the Waterfowl sanctuary of the Wetlands Centre and three theatres are all within walking distance. The Lodge is also close to Olympia and Earls Court Exhibition Centres. Hammersmith Tube Station is a brief 5 minute walk away.
A hearty continental breakfast is served. Soya milk and vegan margarine are available on request. You won't have to walk far for lunch or dinner as The Gate vegetarian restaurant is on the same premises. (closed Sunday) There is also a vegetarian Indian restaurant named Sagar at 157 King Street and the new vegan restaurant "222" at 222 North End Road which does a great lunchtime buffet.
